Original - HELICOIL® Plus Screwlock thread insert

In addition to the classical coil thread insert, the HELICOIL® Plus Screwlock thread insert features a screw-locking area to lock a screw. Due to the resilient frictional locking, the prevailing torques are similar to NASM8846. The prevailing torques comply with the requirements of technical delivery conditions stated in international standards.

The HELICOIL® Plus Screwlock thread insert can be used with screws of higher property classes (8.8 and higher). After the installation, the tang is broken off at the notch (predetermined breaking point). It is particularly suited for low-strength materials. Due to its red colouring, it can be easily distinguished also after the installation.
